Taste Good Bar grabbed victory of the team knockout competition that saw a participation of not less than 32 teams from all over Malta. The team knockout competition was the first team event for the season.
In the final Taste Good Bar overwhelmed San Gwann local counterparts Downtown Bar with a final aggregate score of 19-15. In the first leg played at Taste Good Bar home players took a lead of 12-6. In the second leg Downtown Bar came back and closed the gap to 15-17 before Taste Good Bar won the last two frames that conceded victory.
This was the second victory for Taste Good Bar in this competition. In their way to the final Taste Good Bar had the better of Ta' Cikka Bar 19-8, Top Gun Bar B 19-15, Downtown Bar B 19-13 and Domus Kids 19-18 while Downtown Bar overcame Hamrun Liberty 19-17, Espadon Bar A 19-18, Top Gun Bar A 19-8 and St. Joseph Band Club 19-13.
Taste Good Bar team was composed from Jean Pierre Woods, Ray Caruana, Joseph Psaila, Antione Aquilina, Mario Scicluna, Spiridione Vella, Phillip Coleiro and Alfred Micallef.
