Lyden Debono's victory in the third Under 18 Ranking Tournament saw him clinching first place of the national category ranking list and earning him the title of national champion of same category.

In the final of the tournament San Gwann Bocci Club player overwhelmed Wedley Zammit of Downtown Bar with a 6-3 score.  This was the fist ranking tournament victory for the fourteen year old Debono whose performances are improving day after day.
