The national team league had its start this week when over 500 players from 48 teams set the balls rolling.

The league includes four divisions Premier, First, Second and Third Division with the later division split into two sections.

Premier League games are played on Fridays, First division games are scheduled on Tuesdays, Second Division games are planned on Thursdays while Third Division league is programmed for Mondays.

In the first week current champions Espadon Bar A had a good start by beating San Gwann Bocci Club 10-3 while knockout winners Taste Good Bar A only managed to get a draw at Ta' Cikka Bar.
