Applications for the World Qualifier Tournaments have been issued by the association.  The Open Tournament and the Under 18's Tournament will take place at Pandora Theater at Zejtun Band Club between the 9th and 20th March 2009.

The finalists of both tournaments will be guaranteed a place in the national teams that will be representing Malta in the coming World Pool Championships being held in Blackpool between the 28th June and 9th July.

All applications to be received at the association's address by not later than the 20th February.  Draws will be held at Pandora Bar Zejtun on Wednesday 25th February at 7.30 pm.
