Malta's title defense came to end in the semi finals when World Champions England had the better off our lads in a very tight game.  The Maltese players kept up the pace till the final two frames and where very unlucky not to grab two other frames earlier in the match that could have easily turned the game and the final result.

England will now face Wales in the final with the later beating home team Ireland 8-6 in the other semi final.

In the singles event Jesmond Schembri made it through the last eight but was beaten by English player Keith Brewer 7-4.
