Antione Cuschieri was in great form in the final of the Worlds Qualifier Tournament where he outclassed first time finalist Maverick Zammit with a convincing 8-1 score.

The Espadon Bar player showed style and gave no chance to Zammit who plays for Top Gun Bar.  Both players earned a place in the national squad that will be representing Malta in the coming World Pool Championships being held in Blackpool between the 28th June and 9th July.

In the semi finals Cuschieri had the better of Adrian Camilleri of Espadon Bar 7-3 while Zammit produced a great performance to beat experienced Mario Cutajar of Domus Kids 7-5.
