07/06/2009 08:33:37 Another season came to an end. Domus Kids side left its mark by winning their first Premier League title in style finishing 11 points ahead title contenders Espadon Bar A. The strong Zejtun team was very consistent throughout the season by grabbing 50 points out of the maximum of 54. Espadon Bar A finished second while Taste Good Bar A ended the season in third place. Ta' Cikka Bar, Hamrun Liberty and St. George's Band Club were relegated to First Division. St. Joseph Band Club claimed the First Division title ahead of Espadon Bar B and Downtown Bar B respectively. The Zebbug side has now been promoted to Premier League together with Ta' Caccu Social Club and Anici Band Club. Top Gun Bar B, St. Vincent De Paule and Pandora Bar A were relegated to Second Division. 147 Snooker Hall triumphed in the Second Division League ending 6 points ahead second placed Jojo's Bar A and 8 points ahead third placed Tas-Sej Band Club. All three teams were promoted to First Divison. Cospicua Dynamos F.C and San Gwann Bocci Club B were directly relegated to Third Division together with St. George's Bocci Club who lost the relegation decider to Taste Good Bar B 10-8. The Third Divison League proofed very interesting. In Section A Paola Tarxien Bocci Club and La Cubana Bar A ended the round robin stages tied in points and hence a decider was necessary to determine first and second place of the section. La Cubana Bar overwhelmed the Tarxien side 10-3 and were declared winners of Section A. Section B was topped by St. George's FC while Paola Wolves Sports Club finished second. The winners of both sections encountered in another decider to determine Third Division Championship title. St. George's F.C came out victorious with a convincing 10-7 win. The last decider of division encountered sections second placed teams Paola Tarxien Bocci Club and Paola Wolves Sports Club. This decider saw Paola Tarxien Bocci Club clinching a 10-7 victory over local counterparts and grabbing promotion to Second Division together with section winners La Cubana Bar A and St. George's F.C
