| Malta to participate in the World Championships |
28/06/2009 15:51:39 Three national teams will be representing Malta in the World Eight Ball Championships being held in Blackpool, England, between the 28th June and 9th July. The mens side composed of Miguel Falzon, Clayton Attard, Kevin Mercieca, Jesmond Schembri, Wayne Bonnici, Christ Tabone, Antione Cuschieri, Maverick Zammit and Johann Attard will be managed by Carmel Cilia. The Under 21's national team will be participating in these championships for the first time and includes Robert Fenech, Malcolm Azzopardi, Clifton Coleiro, Joseph Casha, John Paul Mifsud and Christ Domenici. Manuel Lauro will be leading the team. The Juniors side led again by Manuel Lauro is composed of Lyden Debono, Dylan Attard, Owen Cremona, Matthew Galdes and Scott Muscat.
