Malta's national team, participating in the World Eight Ball Pool Championships in Blackpool England, grabbed two important victories against Scotland 13-8 and India 12-9.

Thanks to these victories the Maltese team has now moved upwards in the standings and stand a good chance to make it to the play off stages.  The final two games against Ireland and England are scheduled to be played on Monday 6th July.

Meanwhile the Under 21's and Juniors national sides did not succeed to qualify for next round and were eliminated.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday all players will be playing in the championships singles event and also in the Masters Tournament.
