The association opened the registrations for teams and players that would like to participate in this season's team events. The first team event, the team knockout, is scheduled to start on Tuesday 20th October and it will be followed by the Christmas Cup Tournament starting on the 14th December.  The national league, split in four divisions, will commence in January.

All registrations of players are to be handed in by not later than the 2nd October.  The general secretary of the association will be at Zejtun Band Club, Pandora Bar, to receive registrations by hand on the closing date between 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm.  Players with MPA card number between 1 and 400 has to provide two new passport photos and copy of personal ID Card (front and back).  Same procedure apply for first time registered players.  Players who played in the national team league in the last five years do not need to attach photos to their application form.

All participating clubs has to fill delegate and protest delegate forms together with events forms for team knockout and christmas cup competitions or general form and hand them together with the players' registrations by the 2nd October 2009.
