Johann Attard clinched victory of the third ranking tournament organised by the Malta Pool Association at Pandora Hall in Zejtun Band Club. 

The Cospicua player overwhelmed Mario Brincat with a convincing 8-5 victory.  Thanks to this victory Attard won a place in the national team that will be representing Malta in next year's European and World Championships.

In the semi finals both ending 7-1, Attard cruised Kevin Thomas while Brincat chalked Anthony Aquilina.
