The association will be organising two qualifier tournaments that will give the last opportunity to all registered players and members to play in the national team that will be representing Malta in the coming World Pool Championships being held in Blackpool England between the 27th June and 9th July.

The Open and Under 18's tournaments will commence on Monday 8th March and will come to an end on the 18th March. The winners of the 4 ranking tournaments, held in the begining of the season and the top two ranked players, who already qualified for the national team, will not be eligible to play in the Open Tournament.  The winners of the 4 Juniors' Under 18's Tournaments together with the top ranked player in the Under 18's category will not play in the category's qualifier tournament. 

Finalists of both tournaments will be awarded a place in the national team.

The association will be also holding a ladies tournament in the same period of the qualifier tournaments. All tournaments are being held at Zejtun Band Club Pandora Bar.

Registrations can be made in all club members and will be accepted by not later than Saturday 20th February while draws are being held on Wednesday 24th February at Pandora Bar at 7.30 pm.
