Malta's national team clinched its third victory in the European Pool Championships being held in Daventry England.

In the opening game Malta lost to Scotland 10-5 but a good comeback saw the Maltese beating ex world championships Ireland 8-7.  In the second day Malta surrendered to current European and World Champions England 9-6 but re-emerged with a great win over France 8-7.

Another great performance saw the Maltese beating title favourites Wales 8-7 and now stand a good change to qualify for the semi finals.
